How To Turn Article Writing Into Cash
If you have anything to offer to customers in writing, than you have the possibility to make money online with article writing. Through article writing you are able to deliver fresh content and new ideas to a society that is begging for knowledge. What is great about article writing is that you have the ability to make money online not only through your website, but also by delivering fresh content to other websites as well.
The most common method people use to make money online with article writing is to use it as an advertising method. When you write articles you have the ability to market your website in a couple of manners. You can use keyword optimization throughout your articles to target specific keywords. By targeting the specific keywords in the title of articles and throughout the article you can climb higher on the search engines and increase your website traffic.
When you write articles one of the most important aspects to the article is the bio box at the bottom. This gives you a chance to talk about the basis of your website and what people will find on it in a couple sentences. After that, you then have the ability to place your website link giving people the opportunity to be directed to your website straight from the article. So how does this make you money?
The more traffic you receive to your website the better chance you have of selling products or making pay-per-click money. If you don’t have any traffic there is no point in having a website regardless of how much content it has on it. Once you generate a high traffic volume, which can be done through article writing, you have the potential to make money online by selling your products and through clicks.
If writing articles is one of your strong points and you want a way to make money online apart from your own website, there is a way you can do this. One way is to set up your own article writing business and promote it. You can start it right through your website and post in forums and on your website. This gives you the chance to make money by writing articles for other people’s websites.
Another way to make money online writing articles is to become a Freelance writer. There are always opportunities and job openings online for people who want to be freelance Writers. If you do a Google search for freelance writer there are close to 18 million searches, so the opportunity is waiting for you.
There are hundreds of ways to make money online, but article writing often gets overlooked by people. If you have the ability to deliver fresh content in quality writing, the ability to make money online with article writing is there.

Arctic Homestead: The True Story of One Family’s Survival and Courage in the Alaskan Wilds $16.99 In 1973, Norma Cobb, her husband Lester and the their five children, the oldest of whom was nine years old and the youngest, twins, barely one, pulled up stakes in the lower 48 and headed north to Alaska to follow a pioneer dream of claiming land under the Homestead Act. The only land available lay north of Fairbanks near the Arctic Circle where grizzlies outnumbered humans twenty to one. In addition to fierce winters and predatory animals, the Alaskan frontier drew the more unsavory elements of society’s fringes. From the beginning, the Cobbs found themselves pitted in a life or death feud with unscrupulous neighbors who would rob from new settlers, attempt to burn them out, shoot them and jump their claim. The Cobbs were chechakos, tenderfeet, in a lost land that consumed even toughened settlers. Everything, including their “civilized” past, conspired to defeat them. They constructed a cabin—and first snow collapsed the roof. They built too near the creek and spring breakup threatened to flood them out. Bears prowled the nearby woods, stalking the children and Lester Cobb would leave for months at a time in search of work. But through it all, they survived on the strength of Norma Cobb—a woman whose love for her family knew no bounds and whose courage in the face of mortal danger is an inspiration to us all. This is her story.Author Bio: Norma Cobb is the last woman pioneer to sign up under the U.S. Homestead Act and become a homesteader. She and her family still live in the valley they settled. This is Norma Cobb’s first book. Charles Sasser has been a full-time freelance writer/journalist since 1979. He has published over 2,500 articles and short storiesand has over 30 published books to his name. He lives in Oklahoma. |

Developmental Editing: A Handbook for Freelancers, Authors, and Publishers $22.5 Editing is a tricky business. It requires analytical flair and creative panache, the patience of a saint and the vision of a writer. Transforming a manuscript into a book that edifies, inspires, and sells? That’s the job of the developmental editor, whose desk is the first stop for many manuscripts on the road to bookdom—a route ably mapped out in the pages of Developmental Editing.Author Scott Norton has worked with a diverse range of authors, editors, and publishers, and his handbook provides an approach to developmental editing that is logical, collaborative, humorous, and realistic. He starts with the core tasks of shaping the proposal, finding the hook, and building the narrative or argument, and then turns to the hard work of executing the plan and establishing a style.Developmental Editing includes detailed case studies featuring a variety of nonfiction books—election-year polemic, popular science, memoir, travel guide—and authors ranging from first-timer to veteran, journalist to scholar. Handy sidebars offer advice on how to become a developmental editor, create effective illustration programs, and adapt sophisticated fiction techniques (such as point of view, suspense, plotting, character, and setting) to nonfiction writing.  Norton’s book also provides freelance copyeditors with a way to earn higher fees while introducing more creativity into their work lives. It gives acquisitions, marketing, and production staff a vocabulary for diagnosing a manuscript’s flaws and techniques for transforming it into a bestseller. And perhaps most importantly, Developmental Editing equips authors with the concrete tools they need to reach their audiences. |

Faith Deployed: Daily Encouragement for Military Wives $3.51 If your spouse, or someone you know, has been deployed recently, the stress of that situation will resonate with you. Jocelyn Green speaks directly to the wives of deployed seamen, marines, airmen, and soldiers, via the experiences of their spouses. This book is not a “ten easy steps” for a painless life, instead, it is a collection of devotions that squarely addresses the challenges wives face when their husbands are away protecting freedom. Challenges like: how does a military wife maintain a strong sense of patriotism without allowing her country to become an idol? What good can possibly come from moving every two to three years? And how can I be sure that God has a purpose for my life that is as strong as His purpose for my husband’s? The foundation of this devotional is the unchanging character of God and the anchor of Jesus Christ, even amidst the shifting circumstances of a military family. Jocelyn Green is a freelance writer who pens articles for dozens of magazines, and is a frequent contributor to the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities publications. While her husband served in the Coast Guard, Jocelyn realized the need for encouragement for those left behind. She and her husband have two children, a dog, a cat, and a graphic design business specifically serving the U.S. Coast Guard. For more information, see www.jocelyngreen.com. |

Five Men Who Broke My Heart $10 In this honest, hilarious, fiercely intelligent memoir, journalist Susan Shapiro dares to do what every woman dreams of: track down the five men who’d broken her heart and find out what really went wrong. Between the ages of thirteen and thirty-five, Susan had plunged into love, heart-first, five times. One bad breakup was more hurtful and humiliating than the next. With insight and daring, Susan chronicles her six-month-long journey back down a road strewn with romantic regret. Although for years she’d blamed her boyfriends for their flagrant infidelity, ludicrous faults, and immature foibles, to her shock she can now suddenly pinpoint the exact moment where she herself screwed up each relationship. A successful freelance writer living in Manhattan, Susan Shapiro was in the midst of a midlife crisis she called her “no-book-no-baby summer.” Married for five years to Aaron, a workaholic TV comedy writer always on the road, she was beginning to wonder if she’d remain book- and babyless forever. Then the phone rang, and it was Brad, a college flame who’d become a Harvard scientist with a book coming out. Susan offers to interview him, and she winds up launching into all the intense, invasive questions she’d always wanted to ask him. To her surprise, he answers them! This ignites a spark that sends her on a cross-country jaunt back through her lust-littered past. While Brad is still single, she finds that Heartbreaks Number Two, Three, and Four are not. George, a theater professor, and Richard, a music biographer, are happily married with children. Tom, a handsome blond lawyer in L.A., is getting divorced. Just as it’s becoming easy to worm her way back into her exes’ goodgraces, she crashes head-on with David, a wry Canadian root canal specialist. (“It’s the equivalent of what you did to me emotionally,” she tells him.) She then gut-wrenchingly relives the agony of splitting up with her first love all over again. Yet somewhere between the tantalizing what-ifs |

Gwen $1.99 No matter what the world throws at her, Gwen Peters rises to the challenge. Feisty, curious, with a flare for the dramatic, she dreams of a life on the stage like her idol E. Pauline Johnson, a Mohawk poet and performer who dazzled Gwen during a stunning performance in a London theatre. When Gwen is orphaned, she seizes the opportunity to become a Home Child and is trained for placement as a maid for a family in Canada. So begins her long journey away from her friends on the streets of turn-of-the-century London to service in a wealthy household in Toronto. But when trouble strikes in Toronto, Gwen escapes into the night. Angry and alone, she undertakes a long dangerous trek, following the train tracks back to the only safe haven she knows: Cedarbrae, the Home in Peterborough. Her adventures include an encounter with a bear and flight from a raging forest fire. Gwen’s courage brings her to a welcoming family in Brantford and new friends from the Six Nations Reserve near Pauline Johnson’s childhood home. Carolyn Pogue draws imaginatively on the story of her own grandmother’s experiences as a Barnardo Home Child to bring a little-known piece of Canadian history to light in this exuberant story of bravery and resourcefulness. With the young, vibrant Gwen, Pogue gives readers of all ages a character to cheer on with every step of a journey that comes alive in a manner both familiar and wonderfully strange.Carolyn Pogue is the author of fourteen books of fiction and non-fiction and also writes poetry and drama. How to Win X Factor $12.95 Since it was first screened in 2004, the X Factor has become essential weekend viewing, with regular TV audiences of over 12 million – but the question remains, how do you win? How do you impress the judges, the cruel Simon Cowell, the twinkly Louis Walsh, the beautiful Cheryl Cole. Is it the singer or the song? Is it the presentation? The support from your friends? Your background? Your attitude? Or is it the hairstyle? Or the well timed tears? TV writer Keeley Bolger takes a light-hearted look at the show, the controversies over vote rigging, and the supposed rivalry between the judges and contestants and offers her tips – not all of them obvious – on how to win the coveted title. She also delves into the history of TV talent shows and profiles the judges and previous winners of the X Factor. Let Me Go $11.99 The extraordinary memoir, praised across Europe, of a daughter’s final encounter with her mother, a former SS guard at Auschwitz. In 1941, in Berlin, Helga Schneider’s mother abandoned her, her younger brother, and her father. Thirty years later– when she saw her mother again for the first time– Schneider discovered the shocking reason: Her mother had joined the Nazi SS and had become a guard in concentration camps, including Auschwitz-Birkenau and Ravensbrück, where she was in charge of a “correction” unit and responsible for untold acts of torture. Nearly three more decades would pass before their second and final reunion, an emotional encounter at a Vienna nursing home, where her mother, then eighty-seven and unrepentant about her past, was ailing. Let Me Go is an extraordinary account of that meeting. Their conversation– which Schneider recounts in spellbinding detail– triggers childhood memories, and she weaves these into her account, powerfully evoking the misery of Nazi and postwar Berlin. Yet it is her internal struggle– a daughter’s sense of obligation colliding with the inescapable horror of what her mother has done– that will stay with readers long after the book has ended. Helga Schneider was born in 1937 in Steinberg, now in Poland, and spent her childhood in Berlin. When her mother left the family, she was brought up first by her stepmother and then in a boarding school. She has lived as a freelance writer for many years in Bologna, Italy. |

He sent questionnaires to about 70 writers, about 55 of which responded. The responses were sarcastic and mostly expressed discontent, and later spawned publications that nurtured more independence among writers. In an introduction to Zhu Wen’s short stories, translator Julia Lovell characterized his ‘trademark narrative style’ as “a loosely punctuated, first-person voice in which speech, both direct and indirect, run on within sentences of descriptive prose, designed to capture the unceremonious, free-flowing rhythms of action and dialogue in contemporary China.” The cover of What is Garbage, What is LoveAs a writer, he was labeled as part of a ‘newly-born generation’ (xinshengdai) movement. He began writing short stories and novellas in 1991. He has written the following novellas: His only novel-length work is What is Garbage, What is Love. (). Running the Books: The Adventures of an Accidental Prison Librarian $11.99 Avi Steinberg is stumped. After defecting from yeshiva to Harvard, he has only a senior thesis essay on Bugs Bunny to show for his effort. While his friends and classmates advance in the world, he remains stuck at a crossroads, unable to meet the lofty expectations of his Orthodox Jewish upbringing. And his romantic existence as a freelance obituary writer just isn’t cutting it. Seeking direction—and dental insurance—Steinberg takes a job as a librarian in a tough Boston prison.  The prison library counter, his new post, attracts con men, minor prophets, ghosts, and an assortment of quirky regulars searching for the perfect book and a connection to the outside world. There’s an anxious pimp who solicits Steinberg’s help in writing a memoir. A passionate gangster who dreams of hosting a cooking show titled Thug Sizzle. A disgruntled officer who instigates a major feud over a Post-it note. A doomed ex-stripper who asks Steinberg to orchestrate a reunion with her estranged son, himself an inmate. Over time, Steinberg is drawn into the accidental community of outcasts that has formed among his bookshelves — a drama he recounts with heartbreak and humor. But when the struggles of the prison library — between life and death, love and loyalty — become personal, Steinberg is forced to take sides.Running the Books is a trenchant exploration of prison culture and an entertaining tale of one young man’s earnest attempt to find his place in the world while trying not to get fired in the process.  |

Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time $23.95 Fresh out of college and following a brief and disastrous stint playing minor league baseball, David Goodwillie moves to New York intent on making his mark as a writer.Arriving in Manhattan in the mid-nineties, Goodwillie quickly falls into one implausible job after another. Teeming with the vibrancy of a city in hyperdrive, Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time recounts a dizzying and enthralling search for authenticity in a cynical, superficial—and suddenly dangerous—age. In his heartbreaking and hilarious struggle to become a big-city writer, Goodwillie becomes something more: an important voice of the lost generation he so elegantly describes. |

Neither one met with much success. Now, to pay the bills, Evan works as a freelance copy editor; even so, he still aspires to become a best-selling author. Now, Evan must finish his book and find a publisher. His romp around the Manhattan publishing world brings him unexpected moments, both funny and challenging. The Magus of Java: Teachings of an Authentic Taoist Immortal $16.95 The story of John Chang, the first man to be documented performing pyrokinesis, telekinesis, levitation, telepathy, and other paranormal abilities. • The author, a mechanical engineer, provides scientific explanations of how these powers work. • For the first time, the discipline of Mo-Pai is introduced to the West. In 1988 the documentary Ring of Fire was released to great acclaim. The most startling sequence in the film is that of a Chinese-Javanese acupuncturist who demonstrates his full mastery of the phenomenon of chi, or bio-energy, by generating an electrical current within his body, which he uses first to heal the filmmaker of an eye infection and then to set a newspaper on fire with his hand. Ring of Fire caused thousands to seek out this individual, John Chang, in pursuit of instruction. Of the many Westerners who have approached him, John Chang has accepted five as apprentices. Kosta Danaos is the second of those five. In his years of study with John Chang, Danaos has witnessed and experienced pyrokinesis, telekinesis, levitation, telepathy, and much more exotic phenomena. He has spoken with spirits and learned the secrets of reincarnation. Most important, he has learned John Chang’s story. John Chang is the direct heir to the lineage of the sixth-century b.c. sage Mo-Tzu, who was Confucius’s greatest rival. His discipline, called the Mo-Pai, is little-known in the West and has never before been the subject of a book. Now, John Chang has decided to bridge the gap between East and West by allowing a book to be published revealing the story of his life, his teachings, and his powers. It will surely expedite what may well become the greatest revolution of the twenty-first century–the verification and study of bio-energy.Kosta Danaos is a former engineer for General Dynamics, a martial arts instructor in jujutsu and tai ch’i chuan, and a freelance writer with more than 150 publications to his credit.
